Sidmouth Golf Club’s Ladies Captain from 2022, Marian Andrews, enjoyed a great result in the 60th Anniversary of the Devon Ladies past Captains match.
Marian produced some terrific golf in esteemed company to win Division 3 and was presented with a silver salver and the always welcome bonus of an M&S voucher.
The Moore Cup medal competition was played by a good field of ladies with lovely sunny weather and warm temperatures, helping those drives creep a little further down the fairway.
Sharon O’Brien came first with a great nett score of 66, while Ros Eaton was in second place with 69 and our Lady Captain Susan Hackett coming in third place with a very respectable 70. Sheila Tallon managed the only 2 in the competition on the 12th hole and Sheila Faulkner won the putting competition on a fine day of golf.
