It was a good weekend for Sidmouth and Ottery Hockey Club with six victories out of the seven games played.

In the women's side of the club, the first team entertained Exeter 2 in a home fixture and came away with a 3-2 win.

The second team also had a home match, in their case against Exeter 5 which ended 2-2.

The thirds travelled to Plymouth to take on Ocean City 5 and were delighted with the resounding result of 0-6.

The fourth team also kept a clean sheet, with a 0-3 away win at Taunton Vale 5.

On the men's side of the club, the firsts played North Devon 1 at home and won by the odd goal in five, 3-2.

The seconds travelled to play Taunton Vale 4 and won 1-3.

The third team entertained opposition from the same club with Taunton Vale 5 being the visitors and were comfortable winners, 4-2.

The fourth team didn't have a match.

So a very good weekend for SOHC, with no defeats.
