As there were few good scores in from the low handicappers, the competition was "reduction" only. With five no returns, the various division winners showed their mettle once again.
This was also a club competition and the number of putts counted. Jane Allerton had the lowest number - 29 - so a very good average, and if I read the results correctly, Julie Lye scooped the 2s pot with three - fantastic achievement.
Julie won Division 1 on nett 74, Mavis Vanstone won Division 2 on nett 73 with Ros Eaton winning Division 3 on nett 69. Ros was the overall winner on the day, with yet another handicap reduction, so now playing off 31.
