Sidbury Res 1, Axmouth 3 Senior 5A poor first half saw a useful Axmouth side take a three goal lead as the Sidbury defence gifted their strikers with time and space to create havoc. Coupled with this, Sidbury failed to convert the numerous chances that came their way as a lot of time spent around the Axmouth box failed to reap goals.Changes at half time saw an improved second half showing but a lone Danny Green header was small consolation on a disappointing afternoon. The only players who could really hold their heads high were Kieron Small and Man of the Match Ben Squance in midfield, along with the steadying influence of Ben Clay. The Reserves are at home again this week in a cup match against high-flying Exmouth Amateurs.
