Sidmouth and Ottery Ladies seconds went down 2-0 when they played Dart at West Exe, Lizzie Nancekivell.
Availability issues meant a few regular players were supported by a combination of people from retirement and other players who kindly stepped up from other teams.
SOHC started with good tempo with two sides that appeared to be evenly matched.
Both SOHC and Dart fashioned chances, but neither could take them.
A short corner during the first half went unconverted despite a magnificent drag flick from Hannah Acarnley. Dart edged ahead via a short corner late in the first half to hold a one goal half-time advantage.
After the break both sides cancelled each other out with the two defences holding sway throughout. There was just one further goal, scored by Dart.
The SOHC Player of the Match award went to Anna Akers, with Emma Dalton voted most supportive player.
