On Wednesday, the ladies at Sidmouth Golf Club enjoyed a fabulous day of sunshine and autumn colours on a golf course that is looking good and playing well – for some, writes Gill Paddon.
Winter rules are now in place making the Stableford competition a non qualifier, so unfortunately no reduction in handicap for Maria Clapp who was the overall winner with a magnificent 40 points.
Yvonne Anning was in second place scoring 34 points and Marion Thomas, who hasn’t played for many weeks, was delighted to be in third place with a score of 32 Stableford points.
