The East Devon Short Mat Bowls League is drawing to a conclusion, writes Caroline Pavey.

Awliscombe have completed the season as Evening Division One winners, claiming the title by four points from Beer in the runners-up berth and Sidbury third. Sidford and Seaton Cliff are the two relegated sides.

In Evening Division Two its promotion for West Hill, but as to who goes up with them remains in the balance with one game to play!

Colyton have sealed the top honour in Afternoon Division One with Awliscombe in second place whist, at the other end of the table Seaton Cliff B and D are the teams to be going down.

Afternoon Division Two remains to be concluded. However, Ottery St Mary and Hemyock B have already claimed the promotion paces in Division Three.
