Former Sidmouth Running Club stalwart Becky Robson was in action up in London over the final weekend of July, writes Hamish Spence.

Becky, who did so much for the running club, helping to make it the thriving organisation it clearly is today, was in action with husband Ian at the cycling challenge that is The Prudential Ride London Surry 100 bike race.

Becky, who wore the ‘Mighty Green’ with such pride, and who is no stranger to taking on tough sporting tasks, completed the 100-mile course in a time of six hours, 41 minutes and one second.

There seems little doubt that Becky is really on course for future sporting endeavours to which all of us at Sidmouth Running Club wish her well.
