Beer Albion 0, Hatherleigh Town 3 The Fishermen were their own worst enemies as they slipped to defeat at home to the Fresha League Premier Division table toppers.
Two goals in the first half and one after the break consigned Beer to a seventh defeat in 13 games and they are now just three points above the bottom three.
Boss Phil Crabb says: “We made too many mistakes at key times and that, coupled with our not taking chances, was the reason for this latest defeat.”
On Saturday the Fishermen travel to second placed Feniton.
Crabb says: “Being big underdogs at Acland Park will suit my side. We tend to rise to the occasion when the odds are stacked against us.”
