Beer Albion Reserves visited Starcross Generals in a Fresha League Division Five encounter and finished up on the wrong end of a 9-goal thriller, writes Richard Honnor.
The windy conditions played a major part and the Fishermen held a 4-2 advantage at half time.
It might have been more but for a penalty miss.
However, back came the Generals in the second half to score three times and clinch the points. Beer’s scorers were Jack White, Aaron Wain, Simon Smith and Ross Broome.
On Saturday (December 12) Beer Reserves travel to Lapford Reserves for another league game.
