There was a change at the top of the Evening Division One in the East Devon Short Mat Bowls League last week, writes Caroline Pavey.
A home win for Beer saw them take over at the top and they now lead Colyton by one point and third placed Sidbury, who had an away win, sit three points behind.
Evening Division two saw leaders Upottery win at home and they are four points clear at the top of the table.
In the Afternoon Division Two there were home wins for Chard B and Sidford, giving Sidford top spot again.
