The annual presentation supper for the indoor section of Sidmouth Bowls Club saw trophies and prizes presented by ladies’ and men’s captains Sue and Peter Mison.
The clubhouse looked splendid, themed in yellow, green and orange with some beautiful flower arrangements by Sylvia Cook. A delicious buffet supper was provided by Gill Hodge and her team, and the evening was very relaxed and informal, with everybody enjoying themselves.
President Len Catford proposed the Loyal Toast followed by a toast to the club.
The closing address was given by Peter Mison on behalf of both outgoing captains. He expressed his good wishes to incoming indoor captains Marian and Maurice Watson.
He went on to thank the ladies’ and men’s’ indoor committees for their dedication and support and also expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed so much behind the scenes and without whom the club couldn’t operate.
