Who could have foreseen such a transformation in the weather and course over the next seven weeks such that the re-run would be played in tee-shirts and shorts!
Ladies captain Liz Chance was joined by her predecessor Ros Eaton and vice captain Jenny Shearer along with Janet Humberstone to take the ladies prize.
B Team captain Steve Milton looked to the ranks of his entourage and selected Simon Knowles, Craig Melluish and Stuart Coles to snatch a narrow overall victory with a score of 53.7. President Trevor Kerridge along with Peter Spooner and the club foursomes champions, Will Hastie and Moray Bosence, took second on countback from the young guns - Lewis Perry, Duncan Taylor, James Spiller and David Bater
