During the recent successful new membership drive, it became apparent that the availability of coaching was a key criteria in the minds of those who attended the three open sessions held at the club in May. As a result, coaching sessions for adults are to be held on the club courts on the next four Tuesday afternoons between 1-3pm, starting on July 1. The sessions will be led by LTA licensed coach Sally Freeman. In addition a junior coaching programme will be held at the club during August. There has already been a good response for the adult course from existing members, but newcomers will also be given a warm welcome. Further information on both the adult and junior programmes can be obtained from Grant Whillance (01395) 514588. OUTDOOR LIFE: Guy Patton playing at the Fort Field club.
