As a result of his success in the latest Charles Stanley medal match CC Roberts’ handicap will be tweaked further, writes George Carr.
This, after he claimed victory with 39 points using only 13 of the sixteen shots available to him and now has only fifteen to use next time out.
Geoff Lory continues to improve and was only a point behind on the day for 38 points and second place while Neil Holland’s rueful blob on the sixth, in spite of five birdies, left him in third place with on count back from Steve Crabb.
Crabb had obviously improved on his ‘no return’ in Friday’s competition though he just missed out on the sweep money.
