On Wednesday the Sidmouth ladies’ played a par competition for the County Prize series, writes Penny Ashby.
On a windswept day and in very boggy conditions, next year’s lady captain Liz Chance played a stellar round to win on plus three.
Sheila Thomson, featuring among the leaders again, was a close runner-up on plus two.
