Twenty-five ladies entered for Wednesday’s club competition, which was won by Liz Chance with 30 points, writes Penny Ashby.
In second place was Sheila Tallon on 28 points and in third was Sheila Thomson with 27. Penny Lyne and Sheila Thomson both scored two’s.
At the same time the ladies played the final round of two winter competitions, the Rose Bowl and the Rose Basket.
The winner of the Rose Bowl was Yvonne Anning with Ros Eaton a close runner-up. Marion Thomas won the Rose Basket whilst Margaret Thompson was runner-up.
Last weekend also featured a close match between the president’s team and the Sheelah Creasy team, with the president’s team emerging victorious.
