As an initiative to strengthen the link between the Junior and Senior sections of Sidmouth Rugby Club, the junior section will turn out in force at The Blackmore to support The Chiefs at their important league match against Newton Abbot.
As an initiative to strengthen the link between the Junior and Senior sections of Sidmouth Rugby Club, the junior section will turn out in force at The Blackmore to support The Chiefs at their important league match against Newton Abbot on Saturday, October 11, which will also showcase the junior rugby at the club.This is a great opportunity not only for Sidmouth RFC regulars but also for any local people who have never been to the Blackmore to come and support their club and experience the intensity and pace of senior rugby. As a curtain raiser the under-7s to under-9s will provide a tag rugby display, kicking-off at 2:15pm. Juniors who would like to take part should arrive when the gates open at 2pm. The U11s are the ball boys for the Chiefs' match.As an incentive, entry is free to adults accompanied by a Sidmouth Junior wearing a Sidmouth Rugby Club shirt, otherwise normal entry charges apply. There is also a free spot prize draw for juniors, a free souvenir fixture list and a raffle sponsored by Dukes and Everys.
