Colaton Raleigh in keeper search
Newton Poppleford-based Colaton Raleigh Football Club are on the lookout for a goalkeeper.
Current first team keeper Liam Keast has recently changed jobs, which will now prevent him playing on a Saturday.
Raleigh boss Riki Pitter is looking to sign on another keeper, to compete with youngster Scott Newberry for the first and second team spots.

Meanwhile the club has arranged a pre-season friendly against Seaton Town next Wednesday (July 27) then, three days later on July 30 both Newton Poppleford sides will face Newtown in warm-up games.

Pre-season training continues at the club with in excess of thirty players at last weeks session. A club spokesman said: “Riki is a great coach who gives 100% to get the best out of his players, and he expects them to set high standards in return.”
New players are welcome to attend the next training session(on Tuesday July 26) at the Byes Pitches (behind the rugby field), Sidford.
