Two Colyton Grammar School students, Xanthe Dyer and Simon Davis competed in the British Schools’ Modern Biathlon championships, writes Alfie Howard.
The event took place at the Olympic Park and Aquatic centre, London.
The biathlon, in which 150 entrants competed after coming through a series of qualifying events, consists of a 100m swim and a 1600m run.
The two students, both just 13-years-of-age, did very well, with Xanthe finishing 26th and Simon 37th in their age groups.
