Sidmouth’s Josh Bess certainly made his mark in his first game as Devon skipper.

Josh Bess marked his first game as Devon skipper with a superb unbeaten century.

Bess stroked his way to an unbeaten 113, rescuing his side from a troubled 59-5 on day two of the three-day match away against Herefordshire.

The match ultimately ended in a draw with Devon’s last pair at the wicket at stumps.
