A group of Sidmouth CC youngsters are on a three-match tour of North Devon next week.

The Under-12s and Under13s have combined to travel to North Devon to be based in a youth hostel and play games at Barnstaple and Pilton, Bideford and Filleigh over three days next Wednesday to Friday.

The whole trip has only been made possible thanks to the generosity of the Masonic Lodge which made a significant donation to the tour costs.

Sports Republic has also been exceptional in its support, providing the tour party with a mini-bus for the three day trip.

Rob Fowler is leading then tour and will be assisted by three other coaches. He says: its half term and the chance to something a little different. I am sure the youngsters will benefit immensely for the experience. We have a lot planned for them over the three days as well as some great cricket and I am sure they’ll all come back with plenty of stories to share with family and friends.”
