The Dartmoor League team picked up two valuable points at Stover to stay top of their division, three points clear of Stover and with four matches to play, three of them are at home.
The B Team travelled to Crediton and managed a creditable narrow margin loss of 2.5 to 3.5 to take to the home leg when it has been re-arranged, the fixture having got washed out earlier in the season.
The Sidmouth Jewellers Friday Stableford was won with a solid 41 points by Cameron Evans-Grainger, soon to be playing off 22. In second, Jim Anderton posted a 38 ahead of Mark Bathard in third on 37.
This Monday's Upper Crust Stableford saw a few rounds abandoned when the rain came in, but a number of excellent scores were recorded. Taking top spot with an impressive 43 was Dan Colson, ahead of Nick Gingell taking second on countback from Fionn Wardrop both of whom scored 39. Chris Ashley on 41 took the seniors’ prize.
