Tipton St John player Dave Dawson is set to be a member of most exclusive club as he is about to complete 1,000 matches for the club.
This is a remarkable achievement for, even playing around 30 times a season, it represents over 30 years of service to the sport of cricket and to Tipton St John CC.
A measure of how long the Dawson service is comes with the news that the second in the appearance rankings is Phil Wright who passed 600 for the club this season!
