Dean at the double as SOHC ladies’ III beat Teign III

SOHC III 3, Teign III 1

SOHC ladies’ III had a good balance of mature players and teenagers as they deservedly banked the Petroc Two points, writes Mary Ackland.

A goal from Katie Jackson gave them the lead only for Teign to come back strongly and level via a short corner.

After the break there was more purpose to the SOHC play and it was no more than they deserved when Sarah Dean restored the home advantage.

Dean struck again late on to seal a superb success for the team.
