Sidmouth Raiders Under-14s powered into the last eight of the Exeter and District Youth League KO Cup after an 8-2 victory over Whipton Youth.

Raiders were simply too good for the Exeter side, who adopted a physical approach to the contest.

Raiders scored four times in each half, playing some delightful free-flowing football.

In terms of the goal scoring honours, it was Freddie Dorman who scored four times with the other goals being scored by Josh O’Connor, Ryan Kubaczka, Zach Lascelles and Joel Evans, the latter scoring his first goal for the club.

In what was a fine all-round show, the Man of the Match award went to a richly deserving Joel Evans.
