There was a blank day last Saturday for all the Sidmouth Chiefs’ teams as waterlogged pitches took their toll across the area.
However, there was plenty of interest in the Blackmore clubhouse with a terrific gathering late afternoon to take in the England versus France Six Nations Match, screened on the club TVs.
There’ll be more of the same this Saturday with the Wales versus England match the late afternoon viewing on offer.
Before that, there’s what looks to be a terrific senior match on offer with Sidmouth Chiefs hosting promotion-chasing Cullompton (2.30pm).
The Mid Devon men fielded a young side and were beaten last November at the Blackmore when the teams met in a cup tie, but they are expected to be Sidmouth Quins travel up to Cullompton for their encounter and the Colts are in action at Sidford where they platy South Molton Colts (2.30pm).
