Sidbury's league campaign came to a disappointing end after they drew with University.Despite moving into the top three, if Halwill manage a point at home to St Loye's on Saturday, then Sidbury will finish fourth. It was Sidbury's 20th game unbeaten but it was still not enough to guarantee a promotion place. Sadly the eight draws have cost them dearly but, nonetheless, it has still been a season that they can look back on with pride. The Sidbury goalscorer was Matt Channing who finished off another brilliant free kick straight off the training ground. On Monday night they faced Budleigh Salterton in the semi-final of the Morrison Bell and lost 1-0. It was a gutsy display from Sidbury but they just couldn't find the cutting edge to put Budleigh under enough pressure. On the night they proved that they can mix it with higher opposition. The club complete their season with another semi, this time in the Grandisson Cup, tonight at Ottery St Mary, where they face Sidmouth Town ReservesGOALMOUTH ACTION from Sidbury Utd against University.
