Exeter Chiefs' director of rugby, Pete Drewett, will await the results of a number of fitness tests before finalising the team to play Bedford Blues at Goldington Road this Saturday.

Question marks remain over several players and they will need to be tested on Friday before the final team run and the squad heads off to Bedford.

Drewett will want to take a strong team to Goldington Road after being beaten by them there last season.

He said: "Bedford are a formidable team packed full of experience and talent. We had three tough games against them last year and had a big test against them at the start of this season, so we will be expecting a challenge.

"We need a little bit more time to decide what we want to do and we will make our final call on Friday after the team run. A lot of players put their hands up for selection against Wharfedale this week."

Travelling supporters have been advised that the Hospital Gate (North Gate) at Goldington Road is a season and advance tickets entry gate only. Cash sales and general parking is not available at the North Gate. Cash entry is only available via the Main Gate on Goldington Road.
