Bicton College has a new head coach of their rugby academy, writes Conrad Sutcliffe.
Former Exeter Chiefs and Plymouth Albion head coach Peter Drewett is the new man at the helm, replacing Andy Webb.
The new post for Drewett comes just weeks after he had been appointed to the role of community rugby coach for Devon by the Rugby Union.
Bicton – the de facto for Exeter Chiefs Academy – has undergone a facelift with Drewett taking over from Webb and he is joined at the college by Malcolm Wharton who is going in as director of sport in a part-time basis.
Wharton is a former Sidmouth rugby player who was responsible for the rise and rise of Hartpury College as a rugby force.
