A 36-hole medal is a sure fire way of finding the best player on any given day and Dudley Taylor won the club championships at a canter on Sunday as rounds of 68 and 67 gave him an eight shot success, writes John Johnson.
Taylor’s convincing performance saw him finish well ahead of runner-up Wilbert Hastie, who had rounds of 69 and 74.
The club captain finished third with rounds of 75 and 71.
Taylor also won the Handicap Cup with his nett score of 129 being four ahead of Hastie’s 133.
David Burgess finished third with a nett score of 134.
