Taylor’s convincing performance saw him finish well ahead of runner-up Wilbert Hastie, who had rounds of 69 and 74.

The club captain finished third with rounds of 75 and 71.

Taylor also won the Handicap Cup with his nett score of 129 being four ahead of Hastie’s 133.
