Sidmouth Warriors Under-11s were good value for a 4-2 win over Brixington Blues.
They took the lead following a neat series of passing that ended with a Jack Howe shot flying into the net over the head of the Blues keeper.
The industrious Thomas Mead set up Richie Drewett to double the lead and some excellence from Harry Emmett and Toby Neumegan created a chance for young Mead who was just wide of the mark with his attempt to add to the score.
A third was added just before the break.
Blues came back strongly at the start of the second half, but that was as good as it got for the opposition as Warriors closed the game out in fine style and added a fourth late on to seal a richly deserved success.
