The Sidbury Short Mat Bowls Club has taken delivery of a new ‘fast mat’.
The arrival of the new mat means that the club can now accommodate all types of short mat bowlers be their style fast, slow, or somewhere in between!
The friendly group meet every Monday and Thursday evenings and afternoons ar 2pm and at 6.30pm.
New players are always made very welcome and they do have room for additional players.
The group invite first timers, novice beginners and seasoned professionals to join their ranks!
The friendly club allows you the chance to learn as you play or have instruction from the established players.
Although the club enters many competitions, there is no pressure to play, but they are fun.
The first session is free and thereafter the charge is just £1.50 and that fee includes tea and biscuits.
