Thirty-four ladies played this Wednesday for the Fields Cup, with prizes generously donated by Fields Store in Sidmouth, writes Penny Ashby.
In a close contest it was Sheila Thomson who emerged victorious on countback with Marie Timms edged into second place and Linda Reynolds taking third.
Last Monday the ladies’ Sheelah Creasy team celebrated an excellent away win at Torquay.
This was the perfect start to the new campaign.
