Sidmouth Town’s bright start to their first Peninsula campaign is starting to fade in the memory, as they lost 3-0 at home to Liverton on Saturday.

Despite this losing run, that good start has stood them in good stead, and they are still in touch with seventh place and three points from a win would bump them right back up the table.

They have what is looking like a crucial chance to do just that on November 12 when they are away to mid-table Teignmouth.

They have a day off league fixtures this Saturday and the chance to provide some fireworks of their own when they play Exmouth Town, away, in the second round of the Devon Premier Cup. Town are currently second from top of the Peninsula League East 1.
