IMOGEN Hudson-Clayton and Aaron Witheridge competed at the Tae kwon-Do Association of Great Britain Silver Jubilee British Championships. This 25th anniversary event saw the largest number of competitors ever, a staggering 1,750 take part.The event, staged at the prestigious Nottingham Arena, was a spectacle of martial arts, with special area team events, and individual demonstrations from the top members of the association,Imogen and Aaron both train at the Sidmouth TAGB Tae kwon-Do School, and competed in the sparring and patterns events.Aaron just missed out on a medal by 0.1 of a mark and Imogen taking bronze in the ladies' pattern sectionTheir instructor Guy Southard, 4th Degree black belt, says of the competition: "This was always going to be a spectacular event, but to see the arena floor laid out with 18 rings; all running from 9.30am to gone 9pm is really quite a mind blowing experience."I'm very proud of them for taking part.
