Sidmouth Under-8s made the short trip to Exmouth where they fielded two sides for meeting with a well-drilled home outfit, writes Keith Pullman.

The Warriors played first and settled down after a slow start to improve as the match progressed finishing as the much stronger team with standout efforts from Charlie Turley and Ben Elsom.

The Raiders, who had watched the first game, then took to the field and looked very much improved in another close encounter.

William Pulman curled a fantastic goal into the top corner with the last kick of the match.

Special mention must be made of the contributions of David Clapp and Toby Brewster who shared the Man of the Match award.
