Mitchell’s nap hand haul in another big Sidmouth Under-10 victory

Sidmouth Town’s powerful Under-10 side took their season’s goal tally to 129 in 14 matches with another double figure haul.

With regular team boss Rob Fowler away Grant Mitchell and Dean Jones looked after the team and the youngster responded with some exceptional goals.

Alex Mitchell led the scoring honours with five goals whilst Ryan Griffiths bagged a brace.

The other goals were shared around Connor Mcnamara-Campbell, Sam Pyne, Jake Jones, Scott De Grunchy and George Salter all finding the net.

Young Salter struck the goal of the fame as he first beat three opponents before tucking the ball past the keeper.

The season’s record for the team now reads played 14, won 13, scored 129 goals, conceded just four.

There are just two matches remaining for the team this term.
