Archant

Ottery St Mary Under-18s were in fine form when they made the short trip across to meet Broadclyst in a Devon County League game.

Despite a poor surface which made a normal passing game difficult, the Otters were quickly into the stride and, with a 4-0 half-time lead, had the points sewn up by the interval!

Another four goals were scored after the break to emphasise the difference between the teams over the 90 minutes.

A most pleasing aspect for the Otters was the fact that all three of their Under-16s that were involved, made excellent contributions.

In terms of the Ottery goals, they were scored by Todd Gilronan (2), Max Thomas (2), George Penman, Ollie Benson, Isaac Roderick and Ben Rutter.
