Ottery St Mary Under-13s were very good value for a 2-1 Exeter and District Youth League success at Alphington United.

Max Hooper fired the Otters into a first half lead, but the Alphas levelled just before half-time.

The winner was scored midway through the second half by Sam Pyne.

Luke Bowler and Callum Crow produced the stand-out shifts for the winners.

Both were outstanding in combative midfield roles.
