The Ottery St Mary Under-14s run of poor form continued as they were forced to settle for a share of the spoils with visiting Central Wanderers.

Since a KO Cup mauling at the hands of Division One title hopefuls Alphington, the Otters are now without a win in four.

Their cause was not helped with the absence of seven regular players!

Central scored the games two goals, taking a first half lead from a corner and then netting a second half own goal that saw honours end even.

Centre half Jac Kaliq and right winger Alex Flinders had fine games for the Otters. Coach Steve Flinders said: “We are struggling in front of goal at the moment. When we were going so well we found scoring not a problem. Against Central they came with a good game plan and put bodies behind the ball and we were unable to take the chances that we did create. That said, any team without seven regulars is always going to find life difficult!
