West Hill Wasps Under-10 were 4-0 winners in their local derby meeting with Exmouth Amateurs.

The early stages were bossed by Wasps with Jonathan Pitcher and Ollie Pugsley creating some excellent chances only to be denied by some exceptional goal keeping by the Ammies gloves man. At the other end of the pitch Will Amos and Tom Simmons were rarely troubled in the Wasps’ defence.

From a long throw, Ben Marsh flicked the ball on and Pugsley swivelled and hooked the ball, over his shoulder, high into the roof of the net to open the scoring. James Horler and Alex Douglas both went close before Pugsley doubled the lead before half-time.

After the break Pugsley completed his hat-trick and Pitcher netted direct from a corner to put a polished seal on proceedings.

Oliver Pugsley was named Wasps Man of the Match for his all-round display.
