Sidmouth Town Reserves face Macron League bottom-of-the-table clash

PUBLISHED: 08:09 15 November 2019

Sidmouth Town Reserves, 3rd team and 4th team are all scheduled to have games this coming Saturday (November 16).

Just getting in some action will be something of a novelty for the three teams, none of whom have played since October 19 owing to the wet weather.

The Reserves, who have played just one home game since their last victory of any sort - the August 31, 4-3 Manstone Lane win over Seaton Town, are hoping conditions dry out to allow them to entertain Hatherleigh Town (2.15pm).

With the visitors sitting immediately above the Vikings, albeit on goal difference, a home win will lift Town off the foot of the table.

Town thirds last played on October 19, when beaten 6-1 at Millwey Rise and they travel into Exeter to meet Central (2.15pm). Town fourths also meet Central, but in their case it's the reserve team they face with the game being played at Sidford (2.15pm).
