Sidmouth Town Sunday 8, Timepiece 2

Town powered their way to a Sunday League triumph.

Matthew Rasmussen was close to scoring twice in the opening exchanges before he fired his side ahead in the 15th minute.

Parity was swiftly restored after a series of defensive errors, but almost immediately the Town lead was restored when Tom Pilbro provided the assists and Steve Weaver the goal.

Richard Johnson netted a fine solo goal and other scores came from Rasmussen and Kieran-Fayter Small which saw Town in at the break with a 5-1 advantage.

There were just four goals in the second half with Johnson bagging his second before Rasmussen completed his hat-trick and right back Matt Coulson scored the eighth home goal. Timepiece scored the game’s final goal in the last minute.
