Sidmouth Under-13s powered their way into the next round of the Exeter and District Youth League KO Cup with a net full of goals against a battling Feniton side.
The Vikings were dominant from the first whistle and the Division Two opposition were no match for them.
The die was cast for a one-sided affair with a brace of goals inside four minutes.
The first was a cross-cum-shot from Luke Spiller that sailed into the net and the second was an own goal.
The introduction of Jay Harris from the bench gave real impetus down the left and his runs set up goals three and four scored by Jack Miller and Matt Salter. Miller then notched his second before a cool finish by Salter from a Spiller cross.
Louis Spalding scored the seventh goal after a lofted through ball by Toby Garrick who also laid on another that Goodier put away.
The last two goals of the first half were classic scores. The first was created by a defence-splitting ball from Man of the Match Goodier; Miller feinted first one way then the other before rounding two players and slotting home and the other was a sublime chip from Salter.
After the break, with players switched to different positions the scoring was restarted when James Emmett’s fine right flank run ended with him crossing to Louis Adey who laid the ball off for Tom Moore to net.
Further goals followed from Harris, Adey, Spiller, Garrick and a further two from Salter before Feniton scored a deserved consolation in the last minute.
