Jonny Dunn scored twice as Sidmouth Under-16s kept up their Exeter and District Youth League title bid with a convincing 6-1 home win over Pinhoe Gladiators.

Joe Miller, Alex Stone and Tom Orchard were the other scorers with all the home goals coming before half-time in what was an impressive 45 minutes from the home side.

After the break Gladiators came back well and made life much harder for the home side. Indeed it was the Exeter side who scored the only goal of the second half.

Sidmouth boss Jon Miller said: “Credit to them (Pinhoe) for their second half show which was very good”. Jack Dewinton, playing just behind the front men, was the star of the show for Sidmouth.
