West Hill Wasps 1-1 Sidmouth Warriors

Sidmouth Warriors Under-10s were unbeaten in their latest matches in the Exeter and District Youth League.

First up they played out a close encounter with another top six side, CS Pumas. The first half was end-to-end with the best chance falling to the Mid Devon side, but goalkeeper George Wheeler made sure Warriors went into the break without conceding. In the second half Warriors looked the more likely, but full-time arrived with both defences unbreached. Both teams were happy with a point each and both coaching teams were quick to congratulate each other on a very competitive, high quality fixture.

The exertions clearly had an effect on the team for they then played local rivals West Hill Wasps and served up an understandably laboured performance. The Warriors certainly gave their all and scored through Jed Ionov-Flint with an enthusiastic Wasps team levelling courtesy of an own goal.
