Sidmouth Warriors 1, Alphington 3

The Sidmouth Warriors Under-9s saw their topsey-turvey campaign continue with defeat to the Alphas, writes Chris Roberts.

They began the game well with crisp passing, creating a number of chances.

The visitors defended well, but also created their own chances and the Warriors keeper made a smart save to deny them just before the break.

In the second half the Alphas struck three goals which set the Warriors back.

However, they dug deep and came back well, deservedly netting with Freddie Eul-Baker the scorer.

At the final whistle the Warriors where very disappointed with the result, but should be very proud of the football they are playing.

This week at training practising finishing will be top of the agenda!
