Four goals in six first half minutes saw Sidmouth Warriors Under-9s to a 5-1 success on their visit to Crediton Rangers.

It was the goal machine that is Lucas Vicary that saw to four of the five goals, but this was far from a one-man show as a number of the Warriors team played major roles in the win.

Alistair Mounoury, Dylan Robbins and Lucas O’Connor all linked up well to open up the home defence almost at will!

O’Connor was responsible for the three of the Vicary goals before Mounoury went on a mazy run before unselfishly laying the ball off for Vicary to score yet another goal.

After the break Ethan Isaac rifled home the fifth to complete the scoring.

At the other end of the pitch, Warriors glovesman James Wright made a number of fine saves before finally being beaten as the home side bagged a consolation goal.

Four-goal Lucas Vicary was named the Warriors Man of the Match.
