Sidmouth Warriors Under-13s were 6-3 winners over Cullompton Rangers.
Warriors made a flying start and led 2-0 after as many minutes! Noah Raffell turned home a Thomas Mead corner to make it 1-0 and Zak Jabri doubled the lead.
In a half of end-to-end football Cully scored three first-half goals and George Gelling got a third for Warriors to leave it 3-3 at the interval.
After the break Warriors took charge and, with excellent defending by Lewis McManus and Jack Howe, and safe handling by goalkeeper Mark Rogers, no further goals were scored by Cully. At the other end of the pitch, led by the enterprise of Harry Emmett and Toby Neumegan, further Warriors goals came from Jabri and a brace from Gelling for him to complete his hat-trick.
